Metro Women’s Center Volunteer Roles

Metro Women’s Center is our frontline resource that meets women where they’re at, and we’re always looking for compassionate volunteers with a heart to serve in the following roles:

• Client Adviser: When women come through our doors, they need a friendly face who will warmly greet them and point them in the right direction.
• Client Mentor: Our client mentor is one of the main points of contact for the women who come to our center. As a client mentor, you will provide emotional support for our clients and help mentor them on their pregnancy journey.
• Resource Room Organizer: If you have a knack for organizing, we need your skills! We desire to provide women and families with a welcoming space where they browse for needed supplies in an organized space. 
• Bible Study Teacher: Do you have a heart for sharing the Word of God? This role is for you! As a Bible Study Teacher, you will help enrich the spiritual lives of our clients.
• Special Project Helper: Whether you like organizing or assisting where needed, we have a place for you! We are always looking for people to help with our special events, such as our Walk for Life, Community Outreach, and Annual Gala/Silent Auction.
• Donation/Delivery Pick-Up Drivers: If you have a car and don’t mind driving to pick up donated items, we can use your support! Access to a van or larger vehicle is extra helpful for larger donations.
• Diaper Drive Host: We always need diapers! Each year, we host a diaper drive, and helping us promote this at your church or in your community is a huge help.

Amazing Grace Home Volunteer Roles

Amazing Grace Home provides a safe, comfortable space where women can feel supported during their pregnancy. If you have a heart to walk directly with women during their pregnancies, we can use your help!

• Client Transportation: Occasionally, our clients need transportation to and from appointments. If you have a car and don’t mind driving, this is a great opportunity for you.
• Outdoor Work: If you have a green thumb or enjoy outdoor tasks like lawn mowing, pruning, etc., this role is for you!
• Client Labor Support: The birthing process can be complex, and some of our clients don’t have family or friend support. Help them know they’re not alone and provide essential companionship during the birthing process.
• Welcome Basket Preparation: Each new resident receives a welcome basket with items to make her feel welcome and comfortable in our home. We can use your support to create welcome baskets for each new resident.

General Volunteer Roles

We are always looking for volunteers to help spread the word about Metro Women’s Center and Amazing Grace Home. You can help by:

• Sharing our news, events, and volunteer opportunities with your church
• Praying for our clients, staff, and volunteers
• Helping us coordinate events and raise community awareness
